What is good posture?: Correct PosturePosture is the correct alignment of the body. When you sit, stand or walk your body should look one piece. A wrong posture can also affect your health. If, for example, you are having a drooping posture, the space the rib cage should get, becomes small and affects your respiratory and digestive system. To see the correct posture, stand sideways in front of a full length mirror and see the body line up. For the correct posture, a straight line starting from the tip of the ear should pass through the hip joint, through the knee and down to the centre of the foot.
